Inside Out
Female Artist Series
THE BLANC New York 2025 Exhibition
“The Invisible” is a digital art series created in homage to the women who shaped art from the late 19th to the 20th century—Camille Claudel, Lee Krasner, and Josephine Hopper. Each possessed extraordinary talent and an unbounded creative spirit. Yet, their brilliance at the given time was dimmed by a society far less forgiving toward women who dared to claim artistic space.
In tracing their stories and studying their works, I found myself deeply intertwined with their journeys. I seek to summon their presence and illuminate a lineage of women whose contributions were overlooked or forgotten. Within this historical landscape, I reconstruct their identities in fluid, abstract forms—shapes molded by the gendered biases that once cast a hostile nebula over their careers. As a female artist today, I extend my voice toward theirs, honoring their devotion to creation and bridging the space between the invisible and the visible—toward a world where artistry stands unbound by race, gender, or class.
