Caress the Details

“Caress the Details” is a digital animation series meditating on the quiet erosion of attention in the digital age. Our minds, saturated by a ceaseless influx of distant stories, are drawn into our devices while the immediacy of the world slips past unnoticed.
This work invites a return—to the tangible, the intimate, the sensed. A bird’s wings stirring air, wind threading through hair, a child lingering over melting sweetness, an old man ambling beside his rabbit—small scenes that murmur a gentler truth: the world is not as fractured or restless as it is often rendered online.
Perhaps it is time to turn from screen to street, to narrow the gaze. Zoom in. And again. Attend to one thing, and let it be felt. By shifting our attention back to everyday life, the work offers another way of experiencing the world—one that lingers on its richness, rather than slipping into endless doomscrolling.
